The Most Overlooked Nutrient

In the pursuit of health, we often focus on diets, exercise, and supplements, but what about the most overlooked aspect of nutrition?

Think about it – a substance so fundamental that its absence can trigger a cascade of health issues: water..

How much attention do we give to the very essence that makes up about 60% of our bodies?

In this article, my intention to bring your attention to two distinct perspectives: the quality of your drinking water and the holistic health approach to water.

Let’s dive in.

The Consequences of Neglecting Hydration

What happens when we don’t drink enough water?

Dehydration is not just a feeling of thirst; it’s a state that can lead to various health issues. From headaches to fatigue, kidney problems, and constipation, chronic water shortage affects our bodies in more ways than we realize. Water plays a vital role in maintaining the balance necessary for optimal functioning.

Beyond Quantity: The Quality Matters

When we think about water, we often consider only the quantity consumed. However, there’s a hidden dimension—the quality of water.

Ever found yourself drinking plenty of water but still feeling dehydrated?

This phenomenon can be attributed to ‘dead’ water. It could be because the water lacks essential minerals or is filled with chemicals. The pH level of water can also impact its health benefits.

Did you know that alkaline water, despite its initial benefits, begins to lose its antioxidant properties after 18-24 hours, followed by a decline in its alkaline properties after 3 days?

To enhance the quality of your drinking water, I suggest reevaluating the use of bottled water as your main source and opting for a water filtration system.

Personally, I tackled this issue by installing a water conditioning system in our home. This system effectively filters out harmful chemicals like chlorine, ammonia, and bromide, while ensuring the retention of essential minerals such as magnesium and potassium, crucial for human health.

The result?

Both my wife and I feel more replenished and vibrant, thanks to the improved quality of our water.

Beyond the Physical: The Holistic Approach

In our pursuit of well-being, we often view water merely as a physical necessity to quench our thirst.

But what if I told you there’s more to it? I’ve personally experienced the healing power of water beyond its physical benefits.

I invite you to see water through the lens of holistic health, considering not only its physical aspects but also its impact on mental and emotional health.

Nourishing the Mind and Soul: The Emoto Water Experiment

Ever heard of the Emoto Water Experiment?

Dr. Masaru Emoto’s groundbreaking study explores how thoughts and emotions impact water structure.

Water exposed to positive thoughts forms beautiful, symmetrical structures, while negative thoughts distort them. This suggests that our thoughts can change the structure of water, and since our bodies are 60% water, why would it not be possible to change a human body through thought?

I’m curious how long it will take for modern medicine to grasp this truth.

My Journey: From Chaos to Calm with Emoto Water

Introduced to Dr. Emoto’s studies in 2018, I discovered the transformative power of intentional water consumption. By adopting a simple three-step method, I found myself becoming a calmer, more centered individual.

The 3 Steps to Holistic Hydration

1) Write Down Intentions: Jot down your positive intentions on a piece of paper.

2) Infuse the Water: Fill a clear glass with water and place it on the written intentions.

3) Let It Infuse: Allow the water to sit for 24 hours before consuming. Refill the glass each time you drink.
