help yoube YOU!
I found my calling..
in the very early stages of my career. I was coaching college students how to write stunning resumes and how to impress hiring managers during job interviews. Later, this evolved into coaching professionals to unlock their full potential by exploring their strengths and values to find the best fitting career for them.
My athletic background..
got me into training the offensive linemen of a newly established college football team in Turkey. Some of these big players had no athletic background. I started with where they are and helped them to implement healthy habits to become competitive athletes. Within 12 months, they learned how to eat and sleep better to sustain their energy levels. I coached them on how to adopt a winner’s mindset and their confidence just skyrocketed. In their 2nd year in the league, they won the national college championship.
In my early thirties,
I made a big decision to move to the US so my passion for food landed me in NYC. As a corporate headhunter with 15+ years of experience, I worked with the most talented chefs and expanded my culinary knowledge in test kitchens. I traveled across 45 states and coached over 2700 professionals to become their better selves.
While helping others,
I was struggling with finding my own happiness. My mistake was to seek happiness in external sources such as relocating/moving or dating a new person. Nothing was ever enough for me and there was always somewhere or someone better in my mind that could make me happier. This greedy mindset made me become a nomad who lived in 3 continents and 10 cities, and a serial dater who met over 300 women in 5 years. I was lost, alone and just living day to day without any real clear vision of what I wanted.
In 2016, I decided to live the California dream and moved to Southern California which I call home today. With the support of some of my close friends, I slowly started my personal development journey and analyzed the inner workings of the mind.
This is when..
I took classes and training on psychology, leadership and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). The NLP training taught me the skill of “learning to unlearn”. This gave me a deeper insight into what was driving my behaviors, thought patterns and belief systems. Adjusting my mindset was key to implementing and supporting the changes I was aiming to make. I finally realized that happiness works inside out. I was looking for it in all the wrong places.
This was the first time in my life that I started shifting my focus internally to find my authentic self. The more I dug in, the more curious I became and this made me decide to become an NLP Practitioner.
I was living my dream.
Snowboarding in winters, windsurfing in summer and playing beach volleyball year round made me feel free and at peace. I thought my life was shaping in a way that I wanted it to.
when I started struggling with chronic lower back pain. The prolonged hours of sitting in front of a laptop screen with a non-ergonomic work station started decreasing my mobility and damaging my posture. Minor injuries from snowboarding and windsurfing also started taking their toll. My mistake was not listening to my body and pushing its limits too much. The pain took over my life and started disrupting the physical activities that I am passionate about. Having to stay away from my favorite activities started affecting my emotional and mental health and I was approaching a downward spiral.
Finally,
I did what I thought was the best at the time and went to an Orthopedic Surgeon to get checked out. I was diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis (wear and tear of the lumbar spinal discs), degenerative disc disease and herniated discs. I was sent home with heavy pain killers and a recommendation for a spinal surgery and quitting my favorite physical activities that brought me joy. That was not an option for me. I couldn’t sleep that night and made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I was going to find the way to heal myself in natural ways and never allow pain to take over the quality of my life and disconnect me from things that brought me joy.
I declined all..
the heavy pain killers from my doctor and decided to visit a chiropractor and then another one and another one. Their therapy helped relieve my pain but was not sustainable. I requested physical therapy where I started strengthening my body again and explored exercises that work for my body’s unique needs. Stage by stage I started seeing results. I changed my work station, gave my body a break to recover and integrated stretching, balancing and strengthening exercises in my daily life.
Slowly,
I got to the point where I could start snowboarding and playing beach volleyball but the impact of these sports started inflammation on my lower back again.
My breakthrough..
happened when I decided to study nutrition at the world’s largest nutrition school based in NYC – Institute of Integrative Nutrition. The knowledge I gained made me change my relationship with food. I used natural foods to heal myself and lower my inflammation. My mistake till then was to try to heal my lower back with local treatment, but after learning about the holistic approach to health and nutrition, I was able to bring the missing pieces of the puzzle together and finally reduced inflammation in my body.

My athletic background ignited the fire of my passion in a very early stage in my life. Growing up, I was impressed to see what my physical body was capable of and obsessed with the feeling of mastering a new skill every time I picked a new sport. Through sports I adapted a growth mindset that allowed me to explore myself and my true potential.
Unconsciously, I chose to start my career in HR and the fire was fueled when I had the chance to coach people to unlock their potential for career purposes.
Then my health revealed to me the biggest universal sign.
On April 3, 2020, my doctor diagnosed me for my lower back pain and told me that I should quit my favorite sports. I was almost losing my mind. Those sports were part of my life that nourished my needs in many ways. Giving up on them meant to lose my soul.
That day, I decided to..
do whatever it takes to heal myself in natural ways to get back to my playground and never allow pain to take over the quality of my life and disconnect me from things that made me be me.Â
Â
Going through chronic lower back pain, while it could have been easily prevented, made me start my mission to help others so that they don’t go through the same mistakes I made and disconnect from their authentic selves.Â
I believe that you deserve a better life and I know that I can help you get closer to the life you want to live and the person you want to become.Â
